When a trial or subscription ends, your account becomes read-only: dashboards stay visible, and syncing, imports, AI and new businesses pause. We keep your data for 90 days and ask before deleting anything.
Questions
Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. The 14-day trial needs only an email address. You choose a plan when the trial ends; if you don’t, your account becomes read-only rather than being deleted.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your dashboards stay visible, but syncing, AI explanations, imports and new businesses pause until you pick a plan. We keep your data for 90 days after a trial or subscription ends and ask before deleting anything.
What data do I need?
None to start: a pulse report works from your town and business type alone. To explain your own history, upload a CSV of daily rooms sold, covers, takings or rentals. A year or more of history gives the best results, but three months is enough to begin.
Do you store my customers’ details?
No. We store one total per day, plus optional counts of customers by home country. Names and phone numbers in an export are read during import and discarded.
How accurate is the forecast?
It depends on your business and how much history you have, so we don’t quote a single number. Instead, LocalPulse backtests the model on your own data and shows you the error on your dashboard.
Which countries do you cover?
Weather, public holidays and news work for most towns and cities worldwide. Local event coverage is strongest where public event listings exist. We are based in New Zealand and focus on New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
Does LocalPulse set my prices?
No. It explains and forecasts demand so you can decide on rates, staffing and stock. It does not change prices in your booking or POS system.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, at any time from the billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately; cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
Do prices include tax?
No. Prices exclude GST and VAT, which are added at checkout where they apply. You can add your tax number at checkout.
